Jim Acho Honored at Leaders in the Law Awards Ceremony

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024 Jim Acho was honored at an awards ceremony on his selection to Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s Class of 2024 Leaders in the Law. He is one of 30 attorneys in Michigan to be selected to this year’s class. Jim is only the third attorney in Firm history to receive this prestigious award.

Jim was selected as a Leader in the Law based on the positive national media attention he has had and the impact he has made as an attorney and a professor in the area of sports law. Since joining the Firm 24 years ago he has become the preeminent sports law attorney in Michigan and one of the most prominent in the country. He consistently contributes to the growth of the Firm, isn’t afraid to take on challenging cases, and prioritizes putting his clients’ best interests first.
