Ronald G. Acho is a co-founder, equity partner, and member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. He works out of our Livonia office and focuses his practice on labor and employment law, business law, utility law, municipal law, and complex litigation matters.
Ronald G. Acho is a co-founder, equity partner, and member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. He works out of our Livonia office and focuses his practice on labor and employment law, business law, utility law, municipal law, and complex litigation matters. He has handled complex litigation matters and class action lawsuits, as well as a variety of other matters, in 13 states. He maintains an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest possible rating an attorney can achieve for both ethical standards and legal ability.
Mr. Acho represents local and national businesses, including some of the largest corporations in the world and hundreds of small businesses. He specializes in labor-related matters, including workers’ compensation, discipline, discharge, civil rights, collective bargaining, contract maintenance, labor contract negotiation and administration, contract dispute arbitration and grievance arbitration. He also directs the Firm’s California and Missouri office locations.
In 2025, the Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce selected him as their 2025 Businessperson of the Year. This annual award is given to a person who consistently makes significant contributions to the Chaldean community and the Michigan business community, including offering pro bono services.
In 2021, he was selected as a member of the Michigan Lawyers Weekly Hall of Fame Class of 2021. The MiLW Lawyers Hall of Fame annually honors 21 lawyers over the age of 60 who have practiced law for 30 years or more. Criteria for inclusion in the Hall of Fame include career accomplishments, contributions to the development of the law in Michigan, supporting the bar and the state at large, and efforts to improve the quality of justice in Michigan.
