The award “honors law firm employees who have consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty, often behind the scenes. It is reserved for the state’s most talented and dedicated legal support professionals.”

Kathy Ueberroth joined the law firm of Cummings, McClorey, Davis & Acho, P.L.C. in 1990 and has been Ronald Acho’s legal secretary for the past 31 years. With her extensive knowledge and experience in the legal field, there is no problem Kathy can’t solve or situation she doesn’t know how to handle. She is an invaluable asset at the Firm and is the go-to resource for attorneys and support staff alike because of her innovative thinking, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to resolve unique challenges. Kathy is incredibly hardworking and tackles her duties, including assisting with a large and complex caseload, with good humor and professionalism. Some may say she accomplishes more before 10:00 a.m. than many do in a week. At the end of her extremely busy day, she is known to offer her assistance to paralegals and secretaries to help them complete outstanding tasks or lessen their workload, demonstrating her team spirit and willingness to support others even when exhausted. She is a shining example of professionalism and operates with the highest levels of integrity and dedication. Kathy utilizes her excellent communication skills and friendly demeanor to form great working relationships with clients. She goes the extra mile to ensure clients feel valued and receive exceptional customer service by consistently exceeding their expectations, even when it requires additional effort beyond the standard obligations.
