Attorney Corey Volmering Joins Firm’s Grand Rapids Office
Please join us in welcoming Corey Volmering to the Firm. He has joined CMDA as an attorney in the Firm’s Grand Rapids office where he focuses his practice on insurance defense, premises liability, municipal law, criminal defense, and other general civil litigation. He assists the Firm with conducting legal research and writing briefs for submission to state and federal courts in all areas of law handled by the Firm.
Further, he focuses his practice on family law and estate planning. He completed the Family Law Certificate Program offered by the Michigan Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) and the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. This program requires not only completion of an extensive selection of courses and seminars in family law but requires certificate recipients to take additional courses annually to maintain certification.
Mr. Volmering is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is familiar with the specific needs of our military members and uses his vast experience to provide the best results for every client.
He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Grand Rapids Bar Association, Ottawa County Bar Association, and Kalamazoo County Bar Association. He received a Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University.
