CMDA Proudly Supports WLAM Event
CMDA is a proud sponsor of the upcoming Women Lawyers Association of Michigan (WLAM) Trivia Night, which will be held on October 24 at Detroit Vineyards. Trivia topics will include WLAM History, Women in the Law, and Notable Women in History.
Katie Stearns, an attorney in our Livonia office, is the Director of Programming for WLAM and is responsible for organizing networking events, legal educational seminars, and fundraising opportunities for organizations that serve women and families.
The stated purpose of the WLAM- Wayne Region is to secure the rights of women in society and advance the interests of women members of the legal profession, to promote improvements in the administration of justice, to promote equality and social justice for all people, to improve relations between the legal profession and the public, and to encourage the continued legal education of lawyers. The organization strives to provide members and non-members alike with resources and opportunities to better themselves and the community.
Ms. Stearns focuses her practice on commercial litigation, collection, and general litigation matters. She also has experience in both commercial and consumer bankruptcy, receiverships, and insolvency matters. She may be reached at (734) 261-2400 or kstearns@cmda-law.com.
