CMDA Announces Four New Equity Partners

Cummings, McClorey, Davis & Acho, P.L.C. is thrilled to announce that Christopher G. Schultz, Timothy S. Ferrand, Allan C. Vander Laan, and Haider A. Kazim have been named Equity Partners of the Firm.

Robert Blamer, CFO and equity partner of the Firm, explains, “Each of these attorneys has demonstrated the ability to run their office location effectively, making them profitable and vital to the long-term stability of the Firm. Christopher G. Schultz has been with the Firm since 1993 and has served as managing partner since 2013. He concentrates his practice on business law, real estate law, and estate planning. He maintains an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest possible rating an attorney can achieve for both ethical standards and legal ability.

Timothy S. Ferrand runs our Clinton Township office location and has been with the Firm since 1990. He concentrates his practice on municipal law, employment and labor law, insurance defense, and law enforcement defense and litigation. He maintains an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest possible rating an attorney can achieve for both ethical standards and legal ability.

Allan C. Vander Laan runs our Grand Rapids office location and has been with the Firm since 2002. He concentrates his practice on insurance defense, municipal law, and employment and labor law. He has been selected by Michigan Super Lawyers as a Super Lawyer from 2014-19.

Haider A. Kazim runs our Traverse City office location and has been with the Firm since 2007. He concentrates his practice on municipal law, insurance defense, employment and labor law, and law enforcement defense and litigation. He has been selected by Michigan Super Lawyers as a Super Lawyer from 2014-19 and a Rising Star from 2012-13.
