Jim Acho Speaks to Clients at NFL Alumni Weekend
Every week in every NFL city, each team has an Alumni weekend where former players come in from out of town. A player usually goes in a ring of honor that weekend, and this year was no different as Robert Porcher went into the Lions Ring of Honor. Many former players came in for the festivities. Several ex-Lions requested CMDA partner Jim Acho be present. These sorts of weekends give Jim a chance to catch up in person with clients/friends he sometimes only deals with by Zoom, email, text and phone calls.
Al “Bubba” Baker is one such client. Jim has handled matters for Mr. Baker for years, but all communication has always been remote, as Mr. Baker lives in another state. This weekend gave Jim a chance to get together with Mr. Baker in person and both were very happy to finally embrace in person. “Hiring Jim Acho and his firm is the smartest thing I have done in years,” said Mr. Baker. “Bubba is a legend and as good a guy as he was a player. He belongs in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and I hope to see that happen very soon.” CMDA has been proud of its 25 year relationship with former Lions like the great Al “Bubba” Baker and will always be there to represent and achieve great results for retired players.
