Ray E. Richards, II is an Of Counsel attorney in our Livonia office. He has a dynamic and diverse law practice in the areas of criminal, civil, business transactions, and injury litigation.  He also focuses his practice on Sports and Entertainment Law, including assisting and counseling in contract negotiation, drafting and review.  He provides legal resolution on matters that arise directly or indirectly related to his client’s profession.  Further, Mr. Richards oversees and advises on any compliance matter involving regulatory or enforcement bodies for clients in the NBA, NFL and numerous World Boxing Commissions.  He maintains an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest possible rating an attorney can achieve for both ethical standards and legal ability.

He provides counsel in the areas of business planning, strategy and asset protection for entrepreneurs, small companies, business fundraisers and brokers, as well as investment seeking groups in the early to emerging growth funding stages of Venture Capital and Angel financing.

Mr. Richards has managed and mastered a significant jury, bench trial and mediation centered caseloads and prepared, managed and executed trial plan and strategy in criminal and civil court.
