Saif Kasmikha is an Of Counsel attorney in our Livonia office where he focuses his practice on health care law and corporate law, specifically the transactional aspects of health care. He represents physicians, hospitals, clinics, and other health institutions. His areas of practice include HIPAA, Stark Law and anti-kickback statute, fraud and abuse claims, physician recruitment, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and strategic business consultations of hospitals and physician-owned practices.

His experience in business law includes assisting clients with implementing business entities, handling tax matters associated with corporate clients, creating operating agreements for limited liability companies, handling cases involving third-party payers and reimbursement matters, and advising on both legal and business matters. He also reviews promissory notes and negotiates contacts with bank lenders. Mr. Kashmikha has handled complex litigation matters, including insurance defense cases, disputes between pharmaceutical companies, and medical malpractice cases.

He is licensed to practice law in Michigan and Illinois.
