Overview

Christopher Romero is an attorney based in CMDA’s Riverside, California office, whose practice centers on representing private businesses and public entities in high-exposure civil litigation.

Mr. Romero represents public entities, including counties, cities, and school districts in a broad range of public entity matters. These cases often involve sensitive factual circumstances, minors, and substantial exposure, requiring strategic and thorough defense.

His work with cities and counties primarily focuses on municipal employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims; law enforcement excessive force, search and seizure, and custodial cases; child protective services wrongful removal and failure to protect matters; dangerous condition of public property claims; and significant traffic collision cases.

Mr. Romero’s representation of school districts involves a wide range of matters, including student safety and liability claims arising from dangerous conditions of public property on school campuses, serious student injuries, and allegations of abuse or misconduct involving teachers, staff, or other students.
